The laptop to tv via HDMI cable works wonders for me. :thumbs: I watched KR W entirely that way. I don't think I could watch toku on my laptop screen anymore since watching it the other way.

:thumbs: That's how I have mine setup. Though, if you use a MAC, you'd have to use a different line out for the Audio. For Windows, it's all HDMI.

Yeah, it works beautifully. Do you run your audio to your television or do you have a speaker system? I was wondering how the audio out through something like a surround sound system.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the audio hooked up directly to the TV. It needs some finagling. I don't have my surround properly setup since we had to move stuff around the house. For the mean time I'm just using the speakers form the laptop and the family room has some nice acoustics. :thumbs:

Maybe you can get your surround sound system set up eventually and then try routing your laptop audio through that. I don't have a surround sound system myself but I plan on getting one at some point.

Anybody had any success in routing laptop audio through a surround sound system? How did it work out and sound?

I'm just going to be using the sound from the tv. My computer's speakers aren't up to dealing with me watching toku on a tv. :laugh:
