I don't really care for the whole Santa and gifts part, but this episode does feature a quaint little human story in it. Oh, yes and then there is all the stuff calling back to previous episodes and giving us tidbits of information for the future.

Kamen Rider Beast comes roarin' onto the scene slathering mayonnaise on a stack of meat sticks. Oh, my! This is gonna be interesting. what will Kousuke's impact be on the show? Is it really cold enough to sport that fur collar? When will the mayonnaise shtick end? He thinks he can see through people and knows Haruto is his rival. Anyone else catch a whiff of Ikari Gai? Mayo or now I'm eating out of Beast's paw without a shudder!

Kamen Rider Wizard 18 Mana for a Meal for Super Hero Time Dated: 01-13-2013

Beast came along with a bang, but this paint by numbers episode is so bogged in a mire of tired cliches that I was less than thrilled with it. There is some meat here, but the ancillary beats were hardly anything to hold on to. For the first time I feel more or less ambivalent. I guess the meat was there but there wasn't enough? Come let us reason together...

The Dragon tears Haruto in four, who fight as one, but are they? This episode of Wizard deals with many pieces whose whole is greater than their sum. Let’s piece them together.

Things are changing or at least coming to a head in this episode. Sora, the …… eccentric Phantom who brought Koyomi the Land Dragon stone is now helping Phoenix, who is disobeying Wiseman (which Sora doesn’t seem to mind) and wants to kill Wizard. This slippery fellow might just make this show more interesting.

Kamen Rider Wizard 23 Decisive Battle for Super Hero Time dated: 02-17-2013

The final fight is here! After dramatic set up that highlighted the coming changes, the show has turned another corner on the winding road leading towards the culmination of the plot points of Haruto’s growing power, how it benefits White Wizard and how it affects Wiseman reaching the Sabbat. BUT this episode fell pretty flat for me. The drama seemed forced and Rinko has become completely toothless, useless and was diminished to show HOW GREAT HARUTO IS. What is going on? Hope is not co-dependence.
