This should be in the same universe as Ginga right? The guy is using a Ultramar X Spark Doll to transform.

Well that explains alot lol. Ya know I just now realized the Spark doll was in his right hand on that promotional poster.:sweat:

Spark Dolls exist, but none of the information about the story (so far) ties anything in this to Ginga. They might have a different origin than Dark Lugiel turning everyone into sofubi.

That plot summary mentions "15 years later", not "15 years after [something that happened in Ginga]", I think.
