Continue reading...For a while now, American anime distributor Funimation has been co-producing a feature film, the genre of which is pretty rare for anime movies: a musical. Today was the day we got a look at Sing A Bit Of Harmony via the release of the Japanese-language trailer.
Shion Ashimori is a transfer student who wants just one thing: to make fellow classmate Satomi Amano happy. (The trailer implies they knew each other prior to her transfer, but doesn’t explain how.) After some experimentation, most of which goes awry, she gets the idea to write an inspiring song that will not only lift Satomi’s spirits but everyone else around her.
The film’s Japanese cast has also been revealed: Tao Tsuchiya (ERASED) stars as Shion, Haruka Fukuhara (Kaguya-sama: Love is War?) is Satomi and Asuka Kudo will play Touma. Additional cast members, whose roles haven’t been revealed at this time, include Kazuyuki Okitsu, Mikako Komatsu (Dr. STONE) and Satoshi Hino (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba).
