Some random thoughts about WWE this week:
*How is it possible that on Saturday Morning Slam, a show where babyfaces almost always win, Zack Ryder STILL loses? Can we say "future endeavors"?
*I don't know why people are upset about Barrett losing to Bo Dallas. He's putting a new kid over. We need MORE of that.
*The rumors are that Orton and Sheamus will face off for the WHC title at Wrestlemania. Since obviously neither one of them has the belt currently, plans are for Del Rio to drop it some time around Elimination Chamber. This is an INCREDIBLY stupid idea if true. If they want to establish Del Rio as a legitimate face, they can't have him dropping the title this fast. Not only that, but the person he'd most likely be dropping to would be Orton. So you turned Del Rio face just so he could go from jobbing to Orton to jobbing to Orton?!
*For the seven people who actually watch WWE Superstars, aren't you guys tired of Kofi Kingston beating Michael Mcgillicuty every week? This week's match was almost identical to the one they had two weeks ago. And how many times do we have to see Barrett vs. Orton? Outside of the one time Barrett got a clean win, it's the same match.
*And why the hell is Kofi Kingston on Superstars fighting jobbers like Mcgillicuty and JTG anyway? He may not be a huge star, but he's too big for THAT, and all that does is hurt those guys.
*Did everyone forget that Paul Heyman doesn't actually work for WWE (kayfabe)? He works for CM Punk, so technically McMahon has no authority to fire him.
*I'm really not a fan of what they're doing with Cesaro. I know all heels are cowards, but Cesaro is one of the most talented guys in the WWE. He deserves better than this. Also, this feud with The Miz doesn't feel like it was well thought out for some reason. It just feels like they thought, "Hey, R-Truth is injured and Miz is floundering as a face, so let's pair them up!"
*And speaking of randomly pairing up wrestlers, if they were gonna team up Brodus and Tensai, they should have turned Brodus heel and made them an unstoppable duo, instead to turning Tensai face and making them a goofy dancing comedy duo.
*There was something that came out about why they wanted The Rock to beat CM Punk with The People's Elbow and not the Rock Bottom: because CM Punk kept saying the people didn't matter and The Rock said he was wrong. That is absolutely brilliant, and I love it when subtle little storytelling moments are done in the ring. Another recent one I really liked was in that Fatal Four Way match when Kofi and R-Truth were in the ring together, but they knew how to counter each other's moves.
