In 2011 The One Ring roleplaying game first appeared, and quickly became THE box for tabletoppers to reach for when they felt the urge to go questing in Middle Earth. Ten years later, Free League Publishing has announced a revised version. The
crowdfunding campaign launched early last month, and will wrap up tomorrow…and the response has been massive. The One Ring 2nd Edition busted its goals and then some, taking in over 1.5 million dollars…and it’s technically not over!
There’s still time to get a pledge copy if you act today. The new edition, created by game designer Francesco Nepitello, comes in a new hardbound volume containing a set of updated and streamlined rules based on player feedback over the years. The look of the game has been redesigned as well.
