I can’t speak for everyone, but I personally thought Season 1 of The Mandalorian was great. It’s the best thing that’s been done with the Star Wars universe in quite a while, and much better than any big-screen effort that’s come out recently. Now that the eight episodes of Season 1 have been released, the only question on everyone’s mind (besides that stick The Moff was holding) is….will we get more, and when?
The good news is that work began on Season 2 of The Mandalorian months before the release of Season 1. The better news is that, thanks to this fact, we should be getting it in less time than a year. Series co-creator Jon Favreau tweeted the announcement upon the release of Season 1’s final episode:
