It’s been suggested that if Fairuza Balk had never been cast in The Craft, the movie wouldn’t be half as popular. Her unsettling bug-eyed faces and over-the-top performance were the spice needed to make the concept sing — she made us think we were looking at an actual friggin’ witch! Well, here’s a Craft continuation / remake that has no Balk anywhere in it. And sure enough, the critics didn’t like it that much.
The Craft Legacy is getting pushed onto DVD and Blu-Ray less than two months after its opening, which is normally a bad sign — but then again, the flick never really got a chance to play in theaters, it being 2020 and all. If you never bought a virtual ticket, and you prefer solid physical formats, the option will soon exist. And there will be bonuses:
