It’s been reported that actor Tanaka Minoru (44) was found dead hanging at his home.

According to the metropolitan police department, Tanaka’s manager and his mother visited his house on April 25th around at 3:30 PM because they could not contact to him, and they found him hanging. The police is estimating that it was a possible suicide, and they are currently investigating the matter.

Tanaka has starred in NHK’s morning drama series “Rin Rin to†in 1990, and has been well known for his appearances on 2-hour dramas. He made the last entry on his blog on April 11th, and in the entry, he wrote, “I want to just keep thinking while looking at the sky.â€
