Tech Tablets?

I am debating on buying a tablet, but I have no idea where to start. I need something that works fast. I tried out my boyfriend's tablet before, and it was unbearably slow. I will be primarily using it for browsing online, email, and social networks. I don't play games often so I won't use it much for that. What brands do you recommend for a low budget?

I think you should look for a good 2-in-1 laptop or hybrid laptop which can be used both as a tablet and as a laptop at the same time. You can just detach its monitor and use it as a tablet. This would be quite handy and useful keeping in mind your future requirements too.

You can have hybrid laptops at cheap rates but it goes up as you demand for more features in it. I heard that there is a company called "iBall" which is really cheap. If you opt for a hybrid laptop without hard disk you can have it somewhere between $250 - $300. But if you want it with a hard disk you will have to pay $75 (approx) additional.
