Survey - Rapists are more credible than Atheists to Americans

So, the U of British Columbia did a survey of 450 Americans (with some Canadians) about what groups they Trusted Most/least.

The #1 most untrustworthy group - Atheists, ranking above Rapist's and various ethnic/socal groups (Jews, Muslums, Gays etc) as being the most dishonest group of people.

The authors believe that this is tied to a belief held by over half of all Americans (according to a 2002 poll) that Morality requires a belief in God, rending Atheists amoral and a danger to a god fearing society.

450 americans? That's nothing. I might have taken this seriously if it wasn't for that small number.

I would question the methodology over the population size, myself. Though, to be quite frank, that assumes I care enough to go through the entire survey data.

I don't even want to get into the beef I have with people misunderstanding atheism as it is.
