Throughout the year, GKIDS and Fathom Events’ STUDIO GHIBLI FEST 2019 has presented a series of Studio Ghibli’s celebrated animated masterpieces to cinema screens nationwide, along with some very special surprises. In December the annual series will conclude with the epic The Tale of The Princess Kaguya.
Hailed as a masterpiece by critics and nominated for an Academy Award®, director Isao Takahata’s final film features the celebrity voice talents of Chloë Grace Moretz, James Caan, Mary Steenburgen, Darren Criss, Lucy Liu, John Cho, and James Marsden.
In addition to the feature, attendees will view a special introduction from the Academy Award®-nominated producer Yoshiaki Nishimura.
