I don't know who all else got an email, but Sony has officially warned everyone that we are at the end of an era. As of October 28, 2020, everything associated with the PS3, PSP & PSVita will be removed from the store, likely for good. No more support, DLC, Add-ons, etc will be available anymore in just 12 days of my writing this.

Thankfully, I anticipated that a problem like this would be coming & I have everything I think I will ever need or want for the PS3, but if you haven't, get ready, I guess.

How's everyone else feeling about this? I have:

--Alice: Madness Returns
*American McGee's Alice
--Alundra (PS1)
--Assassin's Creed 1- Rogue
*AC2: Sequence 12 & Sequence 13 + Secret Locations
*ACBH: Copernicus Conspiracy & DaVinci Disappearance
*ACRev: The Lost Archive
*AC3: Hidden Secrets, Benedict Arnold & Tyranny of King Washington Eps 1-3
*ACBF: Aveline & Freedom Cry
*ACR: Siege of Ft DeSable & Sir Gunn's Quest (not actual name of pack)
--Batman: Arkham Asylum, City, Origins
*BAC: Harley Quinn's Revenge
*BAC: Cold, Cold Heart
--Beyond: Two Souls
--Bioshock 1- Infinite
*BS2: Minerva's Den
*BSI: Clash in the Clouds, Burial at Sea Eps 1 & 2
--Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls
--Epic Mickey 2
--GTA5
--Heavy Rain: Director's Cut
--Journey
--Klonoa (PS1)
--Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light
--The Last of Us
*Left Behind
--Lord of the Rings: War in the North
--Mickey's Castle of Illusion
--Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
--Prince of Persia
--Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
--Red Dead Redemption: GOTY
--Sly Cooper 4
--Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
--Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Eps 1 & 2
--Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 1 & 2
*SWTFU1: (3 packs whose names escape me)
*SWTFU2: Battle for Endor
--Tomba (PS1)
--Tomb Raider
*Tomb of the Lost Adventurer
--Uncharted 1-3

I also squirreled away downloads of
--Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines
--Death Jr 1 & 2
for when I get a Vita one day.

EDIT: Ok, confusingly enough, what we're being told is the following:

A) You can still find DLC for games on these systems if you search for them exclusively from these systems, but on a computer, or the main store site, these things will no longer exist.

B) Nothing will be removed from your 'owned' folder

C) This is going to go into effect sooner for the PC version of the site. Roughly between the 21-26, but the last changes, for mobile, will be effective on the 28th.

So, overall, while a little bit confusing, this is actually a pretty agreeable system that they've worked out. Nothing will be gone for good & everything will still be technically available, for the time being.

Well you got to consider that with the Ps5 coming, hoe a lot of PS3(a(not all ming you)mes can be played through the Playstation Now, theres no real need to keep those games in the store.
