And again, I'd personally disagree with those points. I think V3's got a great color palette, though I prefer the 70's costume to the current one, where he's now gotten this weird sea green-light green suit. What's up with that? The dark green of the original is great though, and the fact that the colors simultaneously showcase his origin from the Double Riders, but also create a unique look that's entirely his. You say garish, I say stylish.

But obviously this is going to just go around in circles since you and I are coming at this from completely different directions. So let's leave it there and move on.
