Actually, it's Flickr that's the issue. Unlike other image hosting sites like ImageShack or TinyPic or PhotoBucket, the people behind Flickr have coded it in such a way that it will just "refuse" to do/allow clickable thumbnails. The dimensions of the images that you currently have in your first post (500x375) are all at a reasonable size (not too big, but not too small either), so if all of the images on your Flickr account are of a similar size, then you shouldn't really worry about using clickable thumbnails.

Now if you really would like to do clickable thumbnails, you can just use any of the sites I just mentioned, or any one of the dozens of other ones that are out there. They all have the option for users to set up a free account with them (PhotoBucket requires an account to be registered, ImageShack and TinyPic make it optional/allow you to use their service without having to make an account). All 3 sites will automatically provide you with the required coding for clickable thumbnails on any/all images that are uploaded onto them.

If, on the other hand, you'd rather just stick with Flicker and not have to worry about/bother with uploading your images anywhere else, you can always just post direct URL links to the individual web pages on your Flickr account for each image.

Cheers, that's helpful.

Also, new stuff added.

EDIT: Nope, it's definitely HJU's BBcode that's screwed. I tried Photobucket (since I've had an account there for eons), but no such luck. It had the same problem. For anyone that cares, here's the problem:

Code:
When I use [url=][url], everything is fine.

Also, [img][/img] is fine.

Now combine the two.

[url="http://www.whatever.com"][img]http://www.whatever.com/myimage.jpg[/img][/url]

HJU hates that, and will always change it so this once the post is saved:

[url="http://www.whatever.com][img]http://www.whatever.com/myimage.jpg"[/im][/url]

Also, I now see that the code tags are broken. Bah. I think all of these problems relate to the two options under Miscellaneous Options in the full WYSWIG editor.

These two:

  • Automatically parse links in text
  • Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on).

Another edit: Nope. Still broken. Bleh.

Yeah, it's been like that for something like a year. Don't know why but PhotoBucket's coding and HJU's/vBulletin's coding don't get along. If you copy/paste the "thumbnail" code that PhotoBucket provides, I've found those tend to have fewer/less frequent problems here.

You can always just post direct URL links to the images instead of looking to get the actual pics to show up on the board. Sure it involves one more step for the viewer/buyer to actually see the pic, but at least with a URL link they'll still be able to see it instead of this popping up:

Well, I've put them all up on eBay now, and I've just sold all the switches (well, okay, one of the auctions is still running, but there is a bid, and lots of watchers, so feel free to try your hand at it). The last auction is here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121080497360

As for the Barizun Sword, I'm looking for about US$100 shipped, which I think is pretty fair, because it cost about that much brand new WITHOUT shipping (okay, not QUITE that much, but almost), and it's HEAVY. And big. If you're down with that price, you can go ahead and buy it straight away here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121080487897

Just sold the DX Meteor Driver and DX Meteor Galaxy (as well as a bunch of other things).

Lots of new photos have been added.

I've now added eBay links. Please note that some already have bids, so if you want them, act fast. If they don't have eBay links (or there are no bids and you feel like negotiating), I'm willing to still sell them through HJU.

Copy and paste from TFW because I'm lazy i.e. WHOLY CRAP I'M SO TIRED.

Bumping because I sold a bunch of stuff on eBay, then realised eBay is a bloody scam and I'm not the only one with this problem: they won't let me have my money for 21 days unless I provide them with tracking numbers. So I spent over NZ$200 on five parcels just to get tracking numbers (screw you, NZ Post, you scammers), and eBay still won't give me my money. Good thing I had some extra cash, otherwise I wouldn't have even been able to afford to ship them in the first place. This is retarded.

Also, buy my stuff. I'm buying everyone else's, but not vice-versa~

Bumping for great justice (not of the Keith variety). I've overhauled my sales thread. I also need money.
