Publisher NACON and Abrakam Entertainment are bringing a new roguelike deck-building game —  Roguebook — to PCs this summer. Today they published a new trailer demonstrating how their game works.
Roguebook was co-designed by Richard Garfield, the creator of Magic: The Gathering. In the enchanted world of Faeria, players choose two heroes (four are available) and form a team to take on the powers of the titular book. The Roguebook isn’t a force for good; it pretty much threatens all of existence.
The hook is that no two games will be the same. The Roguebook changes its strategy each time, so the obstacles and enemies you encounter will be different. This is a deck-building game and you battle with cards, but unlike most of them, you’ll want to collect as many cards as possible (instead of developing a streamlined deck).
