I just started this game up the other day, and I am blown away. The story, graphics, music, characters, everything about it is just excellent. Another big plus is that there is a Robot named, Steve. :thumbs:

It has great game play. I love the double weapon thing it has going. It's like Level 5's Dark Cloud 2 systems but improved upon greatly. I love the weapon leveling and synthesis. The frog that does it for you rocks so much. I want a plushie of him.

I love how the characters say stuff as they are running along. It gives the game a nice touch. The voice acting is very well done. I looked at scenes from the original Japanese game, and the US voice are just as good, in some cases better.

Anyone have any other feelings on this game good or bad?

Yes, that's right--had.

Don't get me wrong, though; this is probably one of the best non-FF RPGs I've played since Skies of Arcadia, and I loved that one a lot.

And to Keith, I'll say this: after playing this game, I would probably replace Nero with Jaster on the banner. It's that good.

It took a while for me to get the factory, but in the end, it all came down to
[hide]getting all the materials to the same area all at the same time.[/hide]

One thing I will say, though: LEARN TO BLOCK. The enemies hit, and hit hard. It doesn't matter what armor you equip, because they will all hurt you bad. This is especially important in an obligatory one-on-one boss fight in the middle of the game. Remember that.

That's all I got. Level 5 made a gem with this game. I just regret selling it after I finished it.

I am really loving the bug fights I hate the factory though. Stupid crap. I can never figure out where things go. +_+

I just fought my first mimic.... And I beat it. With one person alive, and only 10 hp left

Star Ocean 3 is amazing. The first time I played it I was just breath taken.
