After the failure of that live-action Death Note film that is a victim of bad script and white washing. Netflix had been doing a lot of great live-action adaptations of
Mangas and webtoons lately. One key component of the success if they use actors of the country origin of the source materials instead of forcing it as a Hollywood flick. Not westernizing the story gives a feeling of authenticity.

Netflix will release the live-action adaptation of the 2007 Yuri Manga, Gunjō. Yuri is a Manga genre in Japan that focuses on gay female perspective. Most Yuri titles focuses with teenage girls but this one focused with a pair of adult women.
