We don’t know how good or bad the Netflix live-action adaption of One Piece will be (probably bad), but the actual cartoon is still going strong and about to hit the quadruple-digit mark in terms of episode count. This is your reminder that this coming Saturday, November 20, Funimation will be premiering the episode “Overwhelming Strength! The Straw Hats Come Together!”along with some celebratory events tied to it.
Funi will hold a virtual live stream event that day on the Funimation and Toei Animation YouTube channels. YouTuber RogersBase will be your host for a free stream of episodes 998 and 999, plus prize giveaways and more. The stream starts at 3 PM Pacific / 6 PM Eastern.
