I've read other interviews that there was gonna be a movie if the show was successful and there was a script already written. Considering the standards and practices you got from 4Kids, what direction did you and the rest of Adness want to go with the movie? Were you gonna put things you couldn't put in the show such as death, language and other things deemed inappropriate for Saturday morning?

We definitely wanted to do a movie, but no script was ever written.

We talked about a couple different ideas. One was to continue the series storyline and have the riders go to Karsh, Xaviax's home planet, and destroy the war machines he left behind. We also had an idea that Xaviax was still serving the leaders of his country, who would be brains in jars, and we would reveal them as the ultimate baddies. Another idea was to go to an entirely new place beyond the mirrors, so that we could make up our own villains and stories.

I don't know about making the movie more mature. That would have been a decision made by the producers. (Of course, we would have pushed it as far as we could within the confines of their guidelines.)
