Question about Toku Purchase

I don't think that argument holds up, since I want to see Kakuranger as well (unsubbed), but the official DVD's aren't out yet ... so all I can do is the same as you: wait :sweat:

That's beside the point I was trying to make. I mean, Ryuki is out on R2 DVD, and I'd love to see it, but my options right now are:

1) Bootleg.
2) Wait until TV-Nihon actually releases rest of series. My kids (that I don't have yet) could be in college before this happens.
3) Watch hellishly expensive Japanese DVDs, without knowing whether or not I'll comprehend what's going on, let alone whether or not I'll like it.

And Ryuki's not all that easy to find on bootleg, either, for some strange reason.

Regarding the subs I can understand it poses a problem and as such you try to find the series you like subbed.

But what I meant to say is that I, being a raw (non-subbed) watcher, ALSO sometimes have to wait for several years before I can see a series I really like, simply because it's doesn't even exist in the Japanese DVD market.
