So, its no secret that Japan's economy is in the crapper, with a rapidly aging population and a very low birth rate to exacerbate it.

This Psychiatrist says that young people who don't spend every penny they have and throw money around like its a Rap video, but save it, are Schizophrenic. He thinks that loss of individuality caused by schizophrenia make's people imitate others more, and they see someone else conserving and not blowing every check on Crystal and mad bling, they will do the same.

He proposed one way to fix this is to DOUBLE Taxes and make "general consumption" (IE buying alot of crap) as a tax deducible expense. "if you don't spend your money, then the government takes it, spend it all then they don't take any".

Of course, the simple answer is that the japanese young people are not Ill, they just don't have any money to spend on non-essentials (and in many cases not even that) what with the shitty economy.
