Ultraman would be a cheap buy. So, It's possible but considering it's new to the generation, It's a risk.

No kidding, Tsuburaya was only asking like what? $700,000 a year or two back.

It would be dead easy for Saban to pick up compaired to a eight-nine figure deal that got the PR back.

With this news of PR's return to Saban.........I felt these old videos would be most appropriate to post @ this moment

And for the bonus: the rare exclusive "You Gotta See It" intro for Zeo's premiere

A new movie?! Already thought about?! That is awesome.

I don't remember where, but I read off a thread on this board that there was an idea of starting off the franchise again with a movie. Then start a new series. That may became a reality.

Hell, Saban could buy Ultraman, Tomica Hero, Garo all in one swoop if Nick was interested in broadcasting it.

I highly doubt he is gonna buy Ultraman or Tomica. KRDK didn't really do well at all, and Ultraman already failed as well back in '02. I know you guys like to be blindly optimistic. But the history shows that things haven't really been good for other toku franchises on American TV. PR is the only tried and true franchise. :disappoin

Despite my utter disgust for what it's become, I cannot deny that.

1. KRDK didn't do well since it wasn't marketed properly and nothing does 'well' on 4Kids. Hence why Yugioh is failing on there and TMNT is not there anymore. Hell, It got a Daytime Emmy Nomination, It should count for something.

2. Ultraman didn't fail since it was a cheap ass dub that nobody should want to watch in the first place. Doing it with an American cast, different story is a whole new ballpark.

What's blind about it? Even when shows failed in the past, Saban continued to try to find the next PR with different adaptations. It's no stretch of the imagination to assume they might try it again, especially with how marketable certain series are now.

Anywho, I actually think it'd be neat if they did adapt something else...well if they could somehow work it into being a PR spin-off. Would love to see something like that with the Chou Seishin series.
