Wild Eye Releasing has just published their latest slasher, Pickaxe, onto digital formats.
In this one, two teenagers take a visit to a small town in the middle of nowhere. There’s a legend ’round those parts, the legend of Alex Black….the murderous maniac who used a pickaxe on his victims. Many claim his story is just an urban legend. The police claim they buried Black years ago. Unfortunately, he’s resurrectable.
The clueless teenagers don’t know this, and wind up performing the ritual that brings Alex Black back to life. Now that he’s terrorizing the villagers again, can they re-kill him before they meet the sharp end of his weapon of choice?
Pickaxe stars horror icons A.Michael Baldwin (Phantasm) and Tiffany Shepis (Strange Nature). It was written and directed by Jeremy Sumrall, and it’s available on digital starting today.
