3000 years ago, the Earth in medieval times, a dark army called the Douma Tribe invaded the Earth without any warning to the point on taking over the entire Earth. However, five young humans who call themselves the Kishirangers, thus possessing magic powers called Knight Magic along with five god-like avatars called the Knight Titans defeated the Douma Tribe and seal them away for eternity after their first invasion. Now, it's the year 2013 and the Douma has been reawakened by a strong earthquake. They resurface the Earth and restart their invasion. Many people on Earth feel like that this was it for them and their planet.
Hearing about the invasion, powerful sorcerer Elder Umaki awakens from suspended animation and goes on a quest to find five young humans who were the descendents of the first Kishirangers. So far, he has found one future Kishiranger, Red Knight. With the clock ticking, Umaki must the other Kishirangers and team up to battle the Douma. However, in order to become part of the Kishiranger, the descendant must awaken his/her respective Knight Magic power.

Ranger Arsenal
Knight Brace: The Kishirangers transformation device which are worn on the left wrists. These devices allow the Kishirangers to communicate with Umaki or to each other are used to transform into their armor by yelling the phrase, "Royal Henshin, Armor On!" and also summon their Knight Titans. Each of the Knight Braces come in five colors which represents the ranks of the Kishirangers.
Kishimaru: The Kishirangers side weapon used for minor combat. These swords were given by Kumaki after the Kishirangers awaken their Knight Magic and contains the same magical element. These swords can be used for their special magical attacks.
Flame Spear: Red Knight's personal weapon that holds amazing power of fire and heat and holds the strength of the sphinx, which he can perform his Fire Pierce attack and his Sphinx Scorch finishing attack. With the four Kishirangers, he can perform the Spellbound Dynamite attack.
Lightning Sword: Yellow Knight's personal weapon holding the extraordinary power of thunder and lightning. This sword resembles the feathers of the thunderbird and can allows Yellow Knight to perform his Lightning Break attack and his Storm Slash finishing attack. With the four Kishirangers, he can perform the Spellbound Dynamite attack.
Cyclone Arrow: Green Knight's personal weapon possessing magical strong winds. This bow resembles the wings of the pegasus and allows Green Knight to perform his Gale Shot attack and his Tornado Check finishing attack. With the four Kishirangers, he can perform the Spellbound Dynamite attack.
Aqua Trident: Blue Knight's personal weapon holding the powerful ocean waves and resembles the tail of the mermaid. It allows Blue Knight to perform her Aqua Shock attack and her Whirpool Impact finishing attack. With the four Kishirangers, she can perform the Spellbound Dynamite attack.
Fairy Scepter: Pink Knight's personal weapons that holds the power of the Holy Light and bestows the spirit of the fairy. It allows Pink Knight to perform her Shining Flash attack and her Crystal Shower finishing attack. With the four Kishirangers, she can perform the Spellbound Dynamite attack.
Knight Titans: Giant god-like mechanical humanoids that possess the same Knight Magic power like the Kishirangers. They helped the first Kishirangers defeat the Douma during their first invasion and now helps the modern Kishirangers battle the Douma.
Knight RoboKing: Giant humanoid robot combined by the five Knight Titans. They can be only formed whrn the Kishirangers synchronize with each other and their powers.

Attire: Shou often dresses like a pirate because of his adventurous attitude. But sometimes, he wears a yellow t-shirt, a brown bomber jacket, blue or black denim jeans and a pair of sneakers or boots.

Shou's Personality: Shou is a happy-go-lucky person who is carefree, adventurous, and loves to have fun. He has an extremely warm heart and loves to be around people, who has the guts to even speak to him, and isn't afraid to speak his opinion. Shou can be a stubborn and cocky at times, which can be a peeve to his friends and loved ones. He can easily get bored at times and likes to wander off somewhere in the city, which can easily frustrate the Rangers and can get scolded by Red Knight, as if Shou was a child. But deep down, he loves the Earth and the people living on this planet and has a sense of justice, which means that he does NOT tolerate any ignorance, bullying, or unreasonable violence. And he would be there for anyone who needed his help, whether it's a little problem or an enormous problem. Shou treats his teammates as if they were his family.
