You met the voice on the communicators once when he hired you. He's not a recluse, by any measure, but when he's sending his own spies out to sunder the plans of Veruca Salt, Charlie Bucket requires a level of plausible deniability.

I'm looking for people who are willing to play in this game over IRC, once a week during the summer. Here's the details of the campaign:

The Boss: Charlie Bucket. Runs the Chocolate Factory completely legit, now paying the loompas in weekly paychecks. However he's noticed that the other people who went into the chocolate factory have become professional criminals, so he finds the best and brightest he can to engage them.

The Angels: Susan Derkins, fiancee of Air Force Colonel Calvin Watterson. She also has rank in the Airforce, but she retired after her chopper was shot down by insurgents. She managed to land it safely and get her people back to base, so she's decorated as well. Since then, however her only connection to the armed forces is her husband to be. Nowadays, she's the socialite of the group. She knows who's with who, and who's not supposed to be at these parties.

Penelope Gadget Charlie recruited her because she was using a homemade portable computer in the era of Atari. She had invented a collar that allowed her to communicate with her dog. Her skill with invention hasn't dulled in the 20 years since then. She's often seen in the labs, perfecting some kind of Wonkatech that never got off the assembly line.

Violet Baudelaire The most perceptive individual Charlie has ever met. More than once, the Angels have been saved from a death trap because Violet opened her eyes and found something they could use. Because there's always something, and when she ties her hair up, she's looking for it.

Lucille van Pelt Like most of her comrades, Lucille is not above using her beauty to get what she wants. She can bring a room full of soldiers to a standstill just by walking in. But as many "blockheads" will attest, her looks aren't the only thing she has going for her. She can beat most men in athletic competitions. Her most recent achievement on that front was making it to the third stage of the Men's Sasuke competition in Japan.

Candace Flynn Where Violet is perceptive, Candace is persistent. Nothing stops her when she's on the trail. She got into the Angels because she was investigating Wonka for one of Bucket's competitors. Seeing her persistence, Bucket offered her a better job.

Sally Kimball Brilliant and deadly, Sally is a Black Belt in Karate, Jujitsu, Silat and Tae Kwon Do. She's also a ranking Mensa member, and her IQ was recently tested at 175. If you need someone punched, or out-thought Sally's the one to call.

5 The only male Angel, 5 is a friend of Lucille. The number isn't a codename, it's his legal name. 5 is the wheelman for most of the Angel's adventures. If it has wheels, rudders or wings, he can drive it.

The Legends and the Reservists:
There are a number of other operatives who are always on call if the angels need to be pulled out of a situation as well as a few who by all rights shouldn't be around any more.

Kimberly Ann Possible and Ronald Stoppable The original inspiration for the Angels, these two, a highly athletic woman and her mystically powered husband have been saving the world from villainous plots for years now. Miss Possible initially turned down Charlie's offer, but under advice from her husband, she offers aid wherever she can.

Nancy Drew A master detective, Drew's name is known to all the major government agencies. It has been said that the Nancy Drew who appears to help the Angels is not the original, but rather the fourth to take this name. Even stranger, during one mission, both Kimball and Gadget claimed to have received aid from Drew, despite being on opposite sides of the world.

Amelia Mcbride Her days of being a schoolyard superhero may be behind her, but as the leader of the Angels reserve squad, Amelia keeps an eye on her immediate superiors. She's also the first chain in the Angel's network of watchers.

Riley Daring If the Angels need a substitute to take their place to cover them, they call Riley. The adopted daughter of a Stuntman and a spy, Riley knows a few things about the business as well. Her brother Todd is also part of the Angel's network.

Jason, Paige, and Peter Fox A super genius, socialite and pro football player, these three keep tabs on the plans of Bucket's enemies, getting the information to the Angels at the risk of their lives.

Kuki Sanban She once did spywork for some kind of secret war. These days, however, she works with her husband Wally at his company 2x4 Tech. When the situation calls for it, she combines the technology of the Oompa Loompas with her own 2x4 expertise. The devices she makes shouldn't work, but they do.

Jade Chan She brings a strange sort of experience to the Angels reserves. She's dealt with mystic threats, and has personally taken part in exorcism and demon binding rituals. With some of the enemies they face, the Angels are happy to have her.

Ellen Hickle She was the deep-cover specialist, bringing down evil schemes from the inside. She was the unquestioned master at this thanks to her obsessive nature and ability to thoroughly lose herself in her role. Those same traits led to serious burnout, and Charlie is very reluctant to pull her out of retirement unless there's no other way to take down a conspiracy.

Sally Brown Sister to the county coroner, and friend to Lucille, Sally got involved by accident. She was abducted by mistake, and Lucille was the one who worked with the SWAT team to rescue her.

The Network: Oompa Loompas. they make the cool gear for the heroines. ("We need to get up to the sixth floor without being seen." "Fizzy Lifting Drink?" "I said without being seen.") Many of Wonkas candies that never left R&D are given to the ladies by the Oompa Loompas.

Augustus Gloop The Angel's Handlers. Augustus came out of the factory a changed man. When he discovered that Charlie was now running the factory, he came in search of a job. These ladies are a handful, but it keeps him on his toes.

Mister Popper An ornithologist by trade, in cases where animals are involved, he comes to the Angel's aid. He's one of the main numbers in Penny's Address Book.

The Flannel Man A mysterious sniper who has helped the angels a few times. Every time, he cleans up the scene of his shooting, but always leaves a blue flannel fiber at the scene.

Charles Brown The county coroner, Charles is often nervous around Lucille, but his range of knowledge is astounding.

Colonel Calvin Watterson Air Force colonel currently in charge of a project codenamed "Wonderful Wizard." He is set to be married to Susan Derkins in April.

Violet Gray Someone is always getting Susan into the big parties. That someone is Violet Gray, a childhood friend of Lucille and Charles Brown.

Scrubb and Pole Investigative Services These two come recommended by Jade Chan. They have a wide breadth of experience in paranormal investigations

Klaus Baudelaire The story of Klaus Baudelaire is not a happy one. Perhaps you'd rather hear about his younger sister, Sunny? A successful chef, happily married, with two small children and one more on the way? No?

For years, Klaus managed the Wonka organization's archives. However, over the years he has become increasingly paranoid and delusional, constantly ranting about schisms and firemen and anagrams.

Klaus still draws a paycheck from Wonka, and the Angels still consult him on occasion; no one is better at finding hidden patterns than he is. However, he hasn't left his apartment for three years, and he refuses to speak with anyone unless he can examine their ankles first; Klaus says that he's grown too old to see through disguises, and it's the only way to be sure.

The Third Street Irregulars
Theodore Detweiler: Has claims of being the former face of the group. Currently owns a rather large chain of gag and prank item shops along the West Coast, he knows just about anybody who's anybody. With contacts on just about every side of the law, he's almost always a good place to start.

-Vincent LaSalle: A professional basketball player, and quite knowledgeable about various high-rollers and other high-class criminal types around the world. He's also a damn good cook if you catch him in one of his homes around mealtime.

-Ashley Spinelli: Dabbles in near everything from wrestling to Ultimate Fighting, as long as it involves a good fight. There are rumors that she is also the anonymous artist known as Funicello, but they are so far unproven. Whether the Angels need to figure out how to get around some fighting style, or just get the dirt on someone who's been in the ring, Ashley's the girl to know.

-Gretchen Grundler: Often considered a bit of a mad scientist, this genius can not only produce tech rivaling the Oompa Loompa's gear, but knows serious names in the scientific community. When a criminal's using supertech, there are few people better than Gretchen at finding out just who built it for 'em.

-Michael Blumberg: Largely a philosopher and artist, Michael has connections to various peace-based and non-profit organizations around the world. While not as immediately useful to the Angels as the others, Michael's words of wisdom and tidbits heard from various people have gotten them out of a jam many a time.

-Gustav Griswald: A military technician and sharpshooter. Though Gustav doesn't have the kind of information on people the others have, if you need some heavy firepower or the lowdown on just how to avoid getting sacrificed by some jungle natives, he's the man to talk to. Incredibly useful whenever the Angels are entering new territory, or need to blend in amongst the crowds.

Cornelius Filmore and Ingrid Third A pair of FBI agents working the graveyard beat in New York City. Both are incredibly brilliant. If the angels need someone arrested, Filmore and third are the ones to call.

Fireside, run by Isabella Garcia-Shapiro Wilderness guides and spies in their own right, the Fireside ladies are on call if the angels need some eyes and ears in a remote location.

Hugh and Riley Freeman Respectively a political professor and a beat cop, these brothers are a great source of information. However, if the angels work with one, the other will refuse to do so.

Todd Daring Now running Fleemco, a professional replacement service, Todd is the one the ladies call when they need a body double so they can sneak away.

Phineas and Ferb Flynn These brothers to Candace have a lot of side businesses that help the angels. Free medical clinic one day, Dress Rental the next. If you're in an unfamiliar city, just look for the PF logo, and you're guaranteed to get some good help.

Harold Potter, Master Magician the one responsible for Scrubb and Pole returning from wherever they were. As it says on his business card, he's a mage. He works with the next name on the list to deal with mystical threats

Sabrina Spellman A witch in the literal sense, Sabrina has become a powerful source of information in the magical community. Should the angels require someone to help with a magical threat, Sabrina is called in.

Nigel Uno, Harold Gilligan, Wally Beetles, Abigail Lincoln Friends of Kuki, and the heads of operations at 2x4, they can provide gadgets when the Oompa Loompas gadgets prove inadequate.

The Hungry Man An accident a long time ago made this man paraplegic. However, that hasn't stopped his hunger for mysteries or massive sandwiches. Much like Mycroft Holmes, the Hungry man, given enough time to think and a big enough meal, can make tremendous leaps of logic that often times prove to be right. Despite his paralysis, he also breeds Great Danes

Robyn Hood, Shirley Holmes and James Bond, Junior Believed to be descendants of the fabled thief detective and spy, these two ladies and their landlord recently opened their own private detective firm in London where they are aided by two others.

The Bankses, Jane and Michael Working for Interpol, these two agents have helped the angels multiple times, though by a tacit agreement between the two groups, the involvement of the others are never mentioned in their after action reports.

Peter and the "Dragon" Recently knighted for meritorious service to the American and British navies, this older gentleman has stopped his adventuring days. He trained the Angels in naval combat and survival. Strange things happen to those who attack Peter. Sudden waves and winds, and gravitational fluxes all keep would be captors away from him. He only smiles and calls these occurrences the Dragon.

The Villains:

Veruca Salt Second Wealthiest woman in the world, and it drives her insane. Every day, she pushes to own more and more real estate. Several gangs and crime syndicates have been crowded out of their home turf because Salt wanted their land now.

Violet Beauregarde Some say this martial artist is triple jointed. She moves in ways her own students can't understand. This is obviously a result of her being juiced in the Wonka Factory. Most of the criminals ousted by Salt's greed find themselves in Beauregarde's syndicate.

Michael Teevee An antisocial supergenius. This tall lanky man is one of the most sought after computer hackers in the business. He could crash the markets of the world, but such a thing poses no challenge for him. He prefers to work on bigger plans and make sure that someone out there appreciates his genius

V Almost as intelligent as Teevee, the one known only as V has been destroying entire corporations for three years now, for some kind of revenge. There's a glimmer of recognition in the Hungry Man's eyes when her picture is shown, but he prefers to not talk about it.

Patricia and Marcia These ladies, though they live together, work in completely different ways. Patricia is a counterfeiter par excellence. Any currency, excluding yap stones, can be counterfeited. Marcia prefers the electronic side of financial crime, through insider traiding and digital blackmail.

Professor Pevensie This old woman lives in the British countryside. She has a distinct hatred for all things supernatural and has vowed their destruction. She keeps an elephant gun, loaded on her mantle, which she says is "For the Lion." Prior encounters with her have been handled by Scrubb and Pole, but the latter are scared of her.

Moe and Bugs Meany Bugs Meany, long time foe of Sally Kimball, couldn't quite hack it as a professional criminal when Sally turned pro investigator. That was until a former nemesis of Susan and Calvin took him under his wing. Now, he works as a leg breaker.

Wild Card An eccentric man, whose plans seemed to be fueled by chaos. His plans are hard to crack, and it often takes the combined brainpower of all the angels to even halt him temporarily. Sally seems to know him, but rejects the possibility that this madman was once a friend of hers.

Mister Cranston An elder superscientist always dressed in blue, Mister Cranston is a dangerous foe thanks to his tenebrous connection to something called The Grid.

Winston Secord A long time ago, a prototype was taken from Howard Hughes. The man who found the stolen property used it to fight the fourth column of the Nazis. A stunt pilot by trade, Cliff Secord used this device as the Rocketeer. It was destroyed in a fireball that also killed a major nazi sympathizer. However, the plans for the project were stolen by Secord's grandson, who now uses this back mounted jetpack for crime.

Archibald Andrews A bigamist, philanderer and possessed of vicious business sense, Archibald Andrews operates the Riverdale syndicate. It's from this town that Sabrina Spellman originally hails, and she's glad she got out. There's not a person in Riverdale who hasn't been corrupted by Andrews' evil.

Waldo This strange man is a master at sabotage and counter espionage. One minute he's there, the next minute he's completely blended into the crowd. Trying to find waldo is almost as annoying as the next name on the list.

Carmen Sandiego Yes, that one. The master thief who takes entire landmarks has made the Angels her pet projects. She finally feels challenged by these ladies.
