I think is a cool development and all. Nonetheless, it's very easy to put those old Nintendo games on Wii or Switch, and in fact, the old Mario games, besides Mario 64 and some others, are on Super Mario All Stars for Wii. Anyway, though, you can say that this retro model is better for kids because - a Wii uses CDs which they can scratch and break. In that case, I think it's an ideal system for younger children.
