CONQUER THE CREATIONS OF OMEGA: SIGMASCAPE IN PATCH 4.2 OF FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE
Fan Festival Event Dates and Locations Announced Alongside Patch Content Reveal
LOS ANGELES (December 15, 2017) – Warriors of Light venture further into the depths of Omega’s self-created battlefields with the introduction of the newest 8-man raid, Omega: Sigmascape, in Patch 4.2 for FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Stormblood™.

In the upcoming patch, titled Rise of a New Sun, players will turn their gaze to Doma in the next chapter of the main scenario quest line. The patch also introduces numerous updates including challenging new trials and dungeons, a large update to the glamour system, a number of system enhancements, and the highly anticipated Forbidden Land of Eureka. A list of initially announced content updates for the patch are listed below:

• New Main Scenario and Side Quests
• New Raid Dungeon
• The Forbidden Land of Eureka
• Glamour System Updates
• The Feast PvP Updates
• Housing Updates
• New high-level trial, featuring Byakko, one of the Four Lords
• New Dungeons
• A New Duty Recorder Feature
• Updates to bard’s performance actions, additional inventory through the use of a new companion storage feature, and more.

SQUARE ENIX® also announced the dates and locations for the 2018-19 FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Festivals. North America will kick off the tour on November 16-17, 2018 in Las Vegas, followed by the European Fan Festival in Paris in early 2019, and ending with the Tokyo Fan Festival in March 2019. This is a very good idea to final fantasy gamers, the improvement made is always making us come back for more, final fantasy game rocks.

I definitely agree that patching a game is a good idea. I mean, we can have the game pretty much like upgraded, so it gets a new twist and we can enjoy it more.

I always seem to forget about the Starlight Celebration. It kind of creeps up on me and then before you know it it is gone. Might have to get better at keeping my eye out.

This is really a great improvement on the part of developers of Final Fantasy games, this patching features is almost like a new upgrade on the game. This will definitely poke up the interest of gamers to play more for better satisfaction.

I was expecting the new developments will be in February but wow they really did January. I'm so excited with the new dungeons. The upgrades are so amazing.

You are quite correct with that assertion about the Final Fantasy games developers, they always plan ahead of time just to appease the playing urge of all Final Fantasy games lovers. I was impressed the moment I found out that this game is already out.
