One month and counting until the release of The Book Of Boba Fett on Disney+. To whet your appetites, Lucasfilm has provided a short teaser for the series today. It’s pretty short, but it does consist of mostly new clips, and it hints that we may find out how Fett got to where he is now.
By that we mean, he obviously fell into the toothy maw of the Sarlacc in Return of the Jedi, and it was said there was no escape from its digestive tract. Yet clearly, Boba got out, and though he also got out in the previous “alternate continuity” that existed in expansion fiction prior to the Disney takeover, we’ve never gotten to learn how he survived in the new canon. Seems we’ll get those answers soon.
In The Book Of Boba Fett, the bounty hunter is taking up the position previously held by the late space slug Jabba the Hutt, after Hutt was strangled by an angry princess who then ran off to some moon.
