During Sony’s latest Playstation presentation last week, the team at Insomniac put together a new trailer for Spider-Man: Miles Morales that includes some impressive gameplay footage.
Miles, who first appeared at the end of the first game, has his work cut out for him as the new Spidey in town. He’s got to deal with The Tinkerer and the Underground army while keeping an eye on his mother, who is running for public office. The big dramatic moment here involves the destruction of a bridge and Miles’ attempts to save everyone on it. It looks pretty intense…


This isn’t a sequel to the hit PS4 game, but it’s not exactly DLC-sized either…think of it on the level of Uncharted: Lost Legacy or Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. These “mini-sequels” are becoming more common as a way to sate fan appetites, as proper sequels can take years to make. Sony says this one will take an average of 16 to 20 hours to beat.
