Need Help: Monster Identification

So, I'd tweeted @HenshinJustice, but didn't get a response, so trying here, too. Profiles in History (an auction house) is trying to ID a costume they've gotten, and are completely stumped. All they know is that it's from Saban, and circa 1990s. Here's the pic:




Can anyone ID him?

That looks very similar to "Bara Brain" from Ohranger.

It does. Probably one of those "partial use" things. I'll see if I can find info on the US counterpart, and what other suits it may have included stuff from before replying to PiH. Wikia says it's episode 3 of Zeo for the US counterpart, so I'll watch that after DW to confirm. Thanks!

Bara Brain wasn't used in Zeo, likely because his destruction was in front of a Japanese man and the fight scenes he had were all given to Staroid who was part of him in the Japanese version.

Yeah, I found that out doing research. So if it was used in something, it wasn't Zeo. Given that the suit doesn't exactly match Bara Brain, I'm wondering if it was used piecemeal for something else.

Maybe Saban got the costume in, never used it, and then sold it
