A lot of people have been saying lately that Hollywood is creatively bankrupt…that it’s impossible to get something into a theater that isn’t based on an already existing IP or a decades-old superhero. People who say this aren’t paying any attention to A24, the smaller studio that’s been cranking out original, bonkers concepts that usually win over critics (and sometimes even become hits). And they don’t come more bonkers than “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” the comedy/drama/action/whatever A24 is putting out next spring.
Evelyn, played by Michelle Yeoh, is bored with her life.
