When the Resident Evil 3 remake ships this April, it will include a bonus game called Resident Evil Resistance. It’s a strategic multiplayer game with 4 versus 1 asymmetrical gameplay — meaning one of you will serve a very different role than the others.
One person plays the Mastermind, who lords over a map and lays out cards that summon deadly obstacles to prevent the other four, a group of Survivors, from escaping. The tools at the Mastermind’s disposal include traps, monsters, manipulating the environment and security cameras. The Survivors won’t be completely at the Mastermind’s mercy, however — items will spawn that will help them get past the traps and survive. But will they?
Four Masterminds can be chosen in Resistance. Capcom already revealed two, Daniel Fabron and Annette Birkin. They are joined by Ozwell E. Spencer and Alex Wesker (a relative of you know who).
