Main forum page slowing down my browser

I am not sure if this has been brought up or not, but I think it needs mentioning...

The main forum page, indicated in the link above, is slowing down my browser and possibly my entire computer. I think it may be eating up my RAM memory or something. When I go into any of the subforum sections or any of the topics, the problem stops and I can browse around just fine. It's only the main page that is giving me problems.

I don't know if it's just me or if this problem has been brought up before. I doubt it's because of the Shoutbox. I've been having this problem for quite a while now, and it only feels like it is getting worse.

Which browser are you using.

And have you tried clearing the browser's cache and cookies?

Firefox.

And yes, I have. It made it marginally better, but the problem still persists.
