Lightyear Official trailer
Lightyear is going to be the origin story of Buzz Lightyear from
Toy Story. It is not going to be about the Buzz Lightyear that we know though. Lightyear is going to be full Meta about the fictional character the toy is inspired from.
Chris Evans will be playing the titular character. Something I notice about the trailer is they changed his origin story from the early 2000s cartoon about Buzz.
Buzz Lightyear of Star Command was originally intended to be Buzz’s origin story. Everything I watched from that 62 episode series won’t matter to this film because it’s a different reality. I loved that show but it got canceled.
