Kinder Surprise Eggs Strike Again

In attempt to KEEP AMERICA SAFE (hurr hurr), Border patrols and customs are seizing any and all Kinder Surprise Eggs

You know, stuff that the entire world is concerned about :redface2:

For those of you who may not recall, or who may just plain not know, the United States placed a $300 fine to any and all persons carrying the little chocolate egg

Why you ask?

Because of the toy inside that could cause a person to choke.

Back in the late 1990's, the candy was imported (or ripped off) here by Nestle' and called "Magic" (was later renamed "Wonder Ball")

There were "apparently" several cases of children choking to death (much like the baby who put the Burger King Kid's Club Poke'ball in it's mouth and later died) and the candy was later recalled and the "guts" were replaced with faux sweet tarts.

This should really not be our top priority right now........

I sell Kinder Surprise ALL the time at work. Also had NHL themed rippoff with mini hockey sticks, mini nets and small pucks (need three eggs to do anything!). Also saw Disney Princess and Toy Story themed ripoffs.

I remember these. There were, in fact, no actual cases of choking. People just flipped the **** out over the possibility of it happening. They replaced the figure with stickers, and people still insisted on being utter morons and had it banned.
