Bad guys are spoiled rich etc. Magma Dopant had really good effects. He injects the Gaia Memory in his arm to transform. When he was beaten he returned to normal and the Magma Memory crumbled.
Henshin: Shotaro puts on belt and belt appears on Phillip. He puts in the Cyclone memory and his conciousness is transferred to Shotaro as he transforms. Luna is Mr.Fantastic/Luffy. Joker Extreme/Rider kick is a split drop his. One side goes first then the other.
For the record I think that they actually can fuse like in the opening scene. That or Phillip's body disintegrated in the explosion.
Phillip will also be outside of the Batcave every now and then and I doubt that they'll just leave his comatose body around.
Also Phillip is creepy, especially with the closeups of his expressions.
