Plot: In the year 25XX, The crime rate all over Japan has reached a record 500%. Because of the jump in the crime rate, the Japanese government created a large, man-made island called Gokusha island for the purpose of dumping new prisoners that would have normally walked free due to overcrowded prisons in the mainland. However, much like every prison, Gokusha island was also becoming overcrowded due to the crime rate remaining steady at 500%, with no signs of declining. One might even go as far as to say that the crime rate might actually be increasing, albeit at a minute pace.
Because of this, the government, whose plate was also filled with figuring out the problem of eradicating the Mirror monsters that terrorize the normal populace, have decided to institute a system where thirteen denizens of Gokusha island are given the chance to receive full pardon for their crimes. However, there is one major catch for such an offer: The thirteen Denizens are to participate in a government-sanctioned event known as the "Rider Fight", where only the last man standing is granted full pardon of his or her crimes. Not only do the prisoners have to fight each other for this chance -- they also must fight the mirror monsters roaming about to increase their chances of surviving the Rider Fight. Unbeknownst to the participants, the government has different plans for them all....
Rules for the Rider Fight:
1) Survive. Participants may form alliances, backstab each other, forge contracts with other monsters (if applicable) -- all in the name of being the last man standing.
2) Mirror Monsters provide energy for contract monsters. Participants would be wise to kill monsters and increase their contract monsters' powers
3) Participants are NOT to target innocent civilians, regardless of reason. If a participant does so, he or she will be immediately executed, without any chance of trial.
4) Prisoners participating in the rider fight, in exchange for prison time, are equipped with nanomachines implanted into their bloodstream. Police officers and all levels of Judicial courts will be able to track the participants that way.

Rider Appearance:
Personality: Yuri is an apathetic individual, often exuding a snarky, "I-don't-give-a-crap" attitude no matter who she is talking to. However, she also exhibits fierce loyalty to those who earn her respect and trust. For those who don't, or break that trust, well....one shouldn't find out.
Bio: An attractive young woman born in Japan, Yuri was only 10 when she moved to the United States due to her father's work as a representative of a large Japanese bank making investments in the United States. It was there she learned a lot about how money worked, as well as how financial institutions, such as banks, worked. Overall, with her father making big money through his job with the investment firm, Yuri was almost guaranteed a good life, and was on track to attend a major university. Of course, like everything else in life, all good things come to an end.
During her junior year in high school, Yuri's lavish life was derailed due to a scandal with the company her father worked with -- namely, a scandal that involved plenty of bad business deals with the seedy crowd. With the company's assets frozen and seized by the government, as well as the father being deported to Japan for imprisonment, Yuri's mother had no choice but to take on heavy debts just to maintain the lifestyle they've enjoyed thus far. Even then, those debts would eventually catch up to the two of them, and Yuri had no choice but to join the military to hopefully receive funding for college. It was there she learned how to fight, handle a gun, and operate war machines. It was also there her name would become known among the populace, as she would become the hero[ine] of the infamous war of 23XX. Though she came home a decorated hero, receiving purple hearts and medals of valor, she did not get the money she hoped to received to pay for college.
Angry and dissatisfied with her current financial situation, Yuri overheard a group of equally dissatisfied soldiers plan a major heist at a major financial institution in New York. Feeling that the heist would be a solution to her dilemma, Yuri jumped into the conversation, and offered her knowledge of how money worked, as well as the general layout of banks in that hallowed financial district. Naturally, she was included in the group, and so she helped out plan the seedy mission of claiming millions of dollars' worth of investments from all over the world for themselves. The group eventually carried out the plan, and nearly got away with the money. Unfortunately for them, however, the government was quick to pick up on the plan, and eventually got to everyone, including her.
Dishonorably discharged by the military and convicted with robbery, Yuri, because of her Japanese lineage, was immediately shipped to Gokusha island to serve a 25 to life prison sentence. Little does Yuri know that an opportunity to be a free woman awaits her there. An opportunity which she has to fight for....
