Man, I feel sorry for that stunt guy..having to flop around with Ryuki's guard vents attached just so they can do the wacky body contortion transformation into Dragredder.

I may be wrong but I don't think Ryuki fought like that in the show. I mean sure he guard vented to save his butt a few times but I don't remember him going into full on combat like that.

I love how they're messing with established continuity. It let us see concepts that would never work as a full serie being experimented with in a simple 2 parter form.

Even if they did they wouldn't have time, nor any reason, to explore the 80s. In the end you would have complained he did nothing so I think its better off that way.

Luckily, I've seen the first 7 episodes of Ryuki. Even if I won't reconize half of the riders, I understand the concept and theme.
