Gokaiger was early though because the first promo had aired at Christmas. So, yeah, fingers crossed Toei doesn't make us wait longer this year. Press conference time is for me to worry that the OP/ED won't leak early this year and I'll have to wait for the official release date ...

Actually, does anyone better informed than me know when cast reveals are likely to be? They usually allow actors to go public after New Year, but this year the announcement of who'd be playing Beet Buster and the Wizard cast was left later than normal, we could be waiting till the press conference

They spent Toei's budget on J's wardrobe.

J has a wardobe? Really? I tought he was waering the same suit every time. I need to start paying more attention to him then when he's on screen... Or does he have like, twenty of the same suits? And if that's a suit, what would he look like in something more casual? Questions, questions...

Aaaaanyway...

I'm kinda mixed on the suits. I like what they tried to do, but the animal heads on the suits kinda break the style a bit. And if the yellow on the helmets where gold, as well as the band across their chest, it would have looked a bit better. And yes, black pants would have suited these suits more. The spandex' return is nice, but leather would have been cooler. Everything els is fine by me.

The machines look kinda, I dunno, really boxy? A more organic design would have been nicer, but it's way better than the pile of parts that is GoBuster-Oh. I cringed every time I saw it.

The Gabrevolver I just love. Do want, together with the sword toy. Nice little change from phones and stuff...

I don't, actually. But as it's the first time Toei has done this in ten years, I shall say something.

Anything new in the text on TV-Asahi's site or is it the same basic plot outline we got before? Also, I never had a problem with the sash/shoulder piece before but they look rather ... out of place in those pictures, even more than in the clearer scans :sweat:

I'd expect Blue to be the wacky one, because Tricera Ranger took that role in Zyuranger, and Kyoryuger seems to be going for a full-cast homage with the main team. But then Tiger Ranger was quite similar to Tricera Ranger (to the point of them tending to blur together outside of their focus episodes) and KyoryuGreen is in Tiger Ranger's place, so ...
