Wow I didn't know that. Just goes to show no matter how much excitement and happiness JDF shows on camera or in public. He's human just like us. He can be hurt just like anybody else. Just horrible what happened. Must have been so much sadness pent up inside of him.

He apparently came to hate the character. I don't blame him, just another dreary 'edgy' character with nothing new to say and got overexposed
