I'm a little late for the conversation but I HATED Rui. I couldn't stand him, not at all. I really liked Tsukasa most of the time, except for when he was being too mean but when he was just acting like a spoiled brat I thought it was cute It could also be because I like MatsuJun XD I liked Sojiro too, Akira was OK but I thought the actor playing him looked too old... I mean they all looked too old to be high schoolers (well except for Makino) but he really did.

Rui was all right but he confused the crap outta me. In both shows. I liked Tsukasa too, I thought he was pretty ridiculous in the first episode of HYD2 but it ended up being him just being badass.

Soujiroh still wins for me. ;D Although I didn't like his look in HYD2.

Rui was confusing, I wished that they could have put a more solid motivation behind his character or something... like that he did like Makino but the reason he kept going after her was to force her and Tsukasa to realize that they loved each other and wouldn't go for anyone else but they never really made that clear. I felt what he was doing just hurt and confused Makino even more.

OK so after much procrastination, I finally finished the drama for Koizora.
I gotta say, it was enjoyable, more details in the show then the movie.
Even though I love the movie, I really enjoyed this series. I like Koji Seto in this drama better then Kiva, he's acting is much better.
And surprisingly, I cried at the end.
So, if you have some free time and want a more detailed version of the movie, I would recommend this drama.
10/10.
