Is Kamen Rider Gaim actually take place 1 year earlier before the Rider War

On the first episode's opening it show apocalypse future of Zawame city and Gaim, Baron, Ryugen, Zangetsu and Gridon are in a war and Mai's possibly future self is seem to be healing and wake up and witness the war. Her flower fall as Gaim and Baron running to each other. After that we cut to the 1 year earlier of how that event happen. Am I right or wrong?
