Is FF8 too short?

According to my experience with FF8, it feels too short. Side quests were too little. It really takes a great deal of time to level up. Its art style is okay but how I wish it had a longer motion. What do you think?

Hi everyone. I too found this was the shortest game in final fantasy. I don't know why though but i never enjoyed much of the story.

I don't the Final Fantasy game series the poster was actually playing that he had to tag Final Fantasy 8 to be too short. If you are very good and skilled with playing FF games, I really doubt that you can complete the game in 30 hours and that amount of time isn't short in my opinion.

Final Fantasy 8 is not that short. It took me almost 35 hours to complete the game. Compared to Final Fantasy 4, this one is a bit longer.

The pace in disc1 is a little bit fast maybe that is why the game seems shorter compared to other FF games. Although, after you begin disc2 the pace evens out.
