Go to the rider head icon on the 2nd right of bottom tool bar.

Once you are inside, you will see a yellow bar button in middle, just under your team.
Press it, then you will be asked if you will change your team character.
I also changed my character to a SR OOO.

BTW my ID is 3nkuj

The one that says osusume team? I hit that and it doesn't let me change my main rider.

It took me about 30 minutes to get it myself.
You have to have a Japan region account with iTunes.
I did not, had to make a new one without the credit card.

I figured out how to change my active rider. You have to switch them out. So when you tap your Leader, after that you tap the one you want to switch to. The one you want to switch to cannot already be in your unit.
