Fear of Corn and V Publishing have joined to produce Interference: Dead Air, a first-person sci-fi thriller now in the works for PC.
It is sometime in the 1980s and you’ve been hired as the security guard for the research facility Barclay Institute. Your job is to oversee the laboratory and ensure the safety of the scientists working there, and you have the latest in technology at your disposal like two-way radios and dual-disk drive green-monitor computers. (That’s right — TWO drives. No expense was spared here!) This being a game, something eventually goes wrong. Neither the publisher nor the developer will share just yet what the incident is.
Here’s the thing. As the security guard watching all this from a distance via monitors, you’re really in no danger….yet. The game will not force you to take action, so if you want to be a lazy pig and fiddle with knobs or watch TV while chaos unfolds outside, you can do that (and most players will probably try it at least once).
