Ha. It took Wikipedia two years to finally discover "Go Go Gadgetinis" was Inspector Gadget's answer to "Dragonball AF", a complete fabrication.
For those not in the know, "Go Go Gadgetinies" was supposedly the second season of the last Gadget series "Gadget and the Gadgetinies", and that it was supposedly a much darker, much more arc-driven comedy series involving Gadget's romantic entanglement with new partner Inspector Prince, a sarcastic charming british agent, who turned out to be the daughter of Doctor Claw.
Those in on the joke promoted the scam for all it was worth, using many of the infamous tricks Dragonball AF would be accustomed to. Photoshopped images, fake cell-art from professional would-be animators, deviantart submissions substituting for character design.
Quite frankly, the fact people, including IMDB, took this seriously was hysterical. The fact Miss Molly (Doctor Claw's spouse for the series) was a domniatrix, use of lines from Penny that involved the words "pantyhose", and a violent, chinese water torture scene in the season finale was more than enough to sway people, but it held firm until a Youtube video cross-examined the photoshop work.
