Out of curiosity, how long do the electronics in role-play toys usually last? Do they eventually just wear out regardless of play time?
I own some toys from the early 90s and late 80s that still function great, but I'm afraid that the electronics will one day just crap out on me even though I keep them in pristine condition and remove the batteries before storing them long-term.
Has this ever happened to you? If they do wear out, what's usually the cause of failure? Rust? Oxidation? Thanks for your input! (>.<)
