Good ol’ CW. Their shows may not be the best on television, but among our endless choices for entertainment these days, they’re the only place in the whole world where you can start a show and feel confident that it won’t be abruptly cancelled with no warning. Every year The CW is the first to announce its renewals, and every year they renew EVERYTHING, with the exception of shows that are leaving on their own terms. If only they could all be like this (Netflix, I’m glaring at you).

cleared room in its distant 2021-2022 season for The Flash (Season 8), Riverdale (Season 6), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season 7), All American (Season 4), Charmed (Season 4), Legacies (Season 4), In the Dark (Season 4), Roswell, New Mexico (Season 4), Batwoman (Season 3) Nancy Drew (Season 3) and Dynasty (Season 5).
