GARO AND THE WAILING DRAGON, the new film from Keita Amemiya (ZEIRAM, MIKAZUKI, MASKED RIDER ZO), opens this weekend in Japan. SciFi Japan presents a preview with information and images provided by the film's production company and distributor, Tohokushinsha Film Corporation.

Somebody should tell the guys at that site that they have the wrong actress credited in that one pic of the character "Meru" that they have. It's Aoi Anna that's playing her, not Okamoto Anri. As a matter of fact, Okamoto's name is nowhere to be found on the "cast" page of the movie's official website, which would imply that she has no involvement in it at all.

Thanks for pointing out the error... Anri Okamoto was named in some materials related to the movie's premiere last year at TIFF that we were using before Tohokushinsha offered us their press notes and photos for the film. That one photo caption accidentally wasn't updated, but the mistake has now been corrected. And if you check the article you'll notice that Anna Aoi was properly identified as Meru in both the cast profiles and credits.
